I buy this at our local world market. Since they didn't have it this time I had to get it on here so I can make my kimchi. It's just not the same with out it. I've used regular shrimp paste and it tasted fine but this product gave an extra flavor that was divine. This product is great never thought to use it in my fried rice gonna do that once it arrives and I get my kimchi going. Again super delicious purchases It you won't be disappointed.
This product is manufactured in Vietnam. Every country in south Asia has many versions of shrimp paste. This is simply an absolutely excellent product!
Excellent product. Put a bit of this in your Pad Thai sauce and it will give it a huge umami bomb and really add to the flavor. This is completely different from straight shrimp paste and the two absolutely cannot be used interchangeably.
